In recent years, Ford unveiled the Ford EV Tax Credit, which was a program that made shopping for an EV more affordable. This program also helped usher in the now-beloved electric models that Ford has included in their lineup. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and the Ford EV Tax Credit is no longer offered. This program was thanks to a Federal tax credit, offered through Ford Credit, which originally came about in the year 2022. With the Ford EV Tax Credit, buyers could get a credit of up to $7,500 on their purchase of a new qualifying EV like the Ford F-150 Lightning. Even used buyers could get in on the action, with an available credit on used EVs of up to $4,000. However, the program has a scheduled end date of October 1st, so we will be talking about some other options down below!
